Gesar of Ling was a piece concieved out of love for the Tibetan people and concern over the plight of their culture's preservation, following the invasion and genocide of the Chinese. Although appearing to be an easy piece to create on today's equipment — this piece, like others in the portfolio, were designed and exectued prior to software intended for artistic purposes. I was asked by the company that wrote the software to explain how the effects were achieved, as they had no idea that this manner of graphics were possible on their equipment..
